Alternative cakes and cake alternatives

Lots of you will probably have seen the geek cake offerings online (and some of them are here) but I’ve found some awesome examples and ideas for anyone out there wanting a slightly different or fun cake :)

The last Mario, I think this one was used as a groom’s cake rather than the actual wedding cake, but it would suit for either.

Again, this was a groom’s cake, but I know when my fiance sees this, he’s going to want one. So for clarification now Bri; NO. It’s still gonna be cupcakes :P Cause I can’t make one of these LOL

Thought this was a novel idea too. Wedding pie. Think about it, you could have alsorts of flavours and serve them with rich vanilla ice cream or freshly whipped cream. *mouth waters* Might have to go and source food soon lol.
